About Community Action Committee of Pike County

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Community Action Committee of Pike County to promote self-sufficiency among the low income population of Pike County, and to address the major causes of poverty. To accomplish this mission it will be necessary to develop a stable funding base, to create community awareness of agency efforts, to increase community participation of these efforts, to establish and maintain quality programs along with quality administration, and to create innovative operations and administration. Attention will be focused on the needs of Pike County while simultaneously seeking appropriate opportunities to meet the needs of the region. The agency will also focus on innovative activities serving all income groups to develop financial resources to better serve the low income population.
